Jerry has been at Eagle Creek Golf Club since it opened in 1975, first as Head Golf Professional and now as the Director of Golf. A PGA member for 40 years, he received the Bill Strausbaugh / Club Relations Award in 1998 for his untiring and distinguished service to golf facilities and to fellow members in the field of employment and club relations.

Jerry also has a rapidly growing management company that currently owns or operates 4 golf facilities in Indiana.

Brad Beck

Head P.G.A. Golf Professional
Vancouver, B.C., Canada

Brad is starting his 18th season at Eagle Creek - the last 10 years as Head Golf Professional. He attended Michigan State University on a hockey scholarship and was a member of the 1986 NCAA National Championship Hockey Team. Brad played professional hockey for 7 years in Europe and the USA before entering the PGA Program in 1991.

He has been a PGA member since 1994 and his future plans include ownership in multiple golf facilities.

Drew Edgell

Outing Coordinator

Drew graduated from Indiana University in 2002 - completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Parks and Recreation Admin. Drew's previous golf experience was at Bloomington C.C. where he interned for 2 years under the General Manager. Drew joined the Eagle Creek staff in 2002 as the Outing Coordinator.

In addition to this position, Drew has entered the PGA Golf Professional Training Program to obtain his certification as a PGA Golf Professional.

 

Ben Heaver

Jerry Hayslett recently inked an agreement with the Brian Kirk Golf Schools to take over the teaching duties at the Eagle Creek Golf Academy for 2008-2010. Ben Heaver has been appointed Head Golf Instructor and is beginning his 6th season with the Brian Kirk Golf Schools. Ben was born and raised in Cicero, Indiana and is a graduate of Indiana University - where he majored in Sports Marketing/ Management.

Ben has worked with a vast array of students, ranging from the beginner golfer to players at the collegiate level. We are excited to have him join our professional staff and are confident that his knowledge and instruction will improve your golf game.

Manfred Starling

Superintendent

Manfred Starling has 20 years experience in golf course management and has been at Eagle Creek Golf Club since 1994. He is an Accredited Indiana Plantsman, Licensed Pesticide Applicator and member of the Indiana Golf Course Superintendents Association. A graduate of Indiana University with a degree in Business Administration, Manfred chose golf course management because of his love for the outdoors. Providing sound stewardship of the land, water and wildlife is always a high priority.

Other than spending time with his family, Manfred enjoys the rewarding aspects of working at a golf course like Eagle Creek with all of its natural beauty.
